Optimized capacity for histology cassettes

The Cassette Holder is a dedicated accessory designed to securely hold and organize histology cassettes within large SecurBiop® containers. With a diameter of 190 mm and a height of 14 mm, it can accommodate up to 10 standard histology cassettes (28×40×7 mm). Each standard kit includes 6 cassette holders: 5 to hold the cassettes and 1 additional empty holder to be placed on top as a safety element, preventing lower supports from floating when formalin is released.

1. Each standard kit includes 6 cassette holders.
2. Place the holder on a flat surface and insert the histology cassettes.
3. Each holder can accommodate up to 10 cassettes.
4. Maximum capacity per container: 5 cassette holders + 1 safety holder
5. Insert the cassette holders into the container.
6. Add the empty safety holder on top to prevent flotation.
7. Take the perforator.
8. Insert the perforator with the tips facing upward.
9. Position the cap on the cup and screw it in until it stops, ensuring proper alignment. Remove the safety ring.
10. Finish closing the container. For safety reasons, this step must be performed by two operators. Wait for the formalin to be fully released.
11. The fixed samples can now be safely transported to the laboratory.
12. 900 ml → 2 cassette holders + 1 safety holder. 1200 ml → 3 cassette holders + 1 safety holder. 2000 ml → 5 cassette holders + 1 safety holder
