The SecurBiop® 900/1200/2000ml container is designed to hold large biopsy samples and multiple biopsies.
It features a patented technology that prevents the operator from coming into contact with the liquid and its harmful vapors, as the formalin is released into the cup to fix the sample only once the container is fully sealed.

1. Open the container – this step must be performed by two operators for safety reasons.

2. Remove the perforator from the cup.

3. Insert the biopsy specimen.

4. Reinsert the perforator into the cup with the tips facing upward.

5. Place the lid on top of the cup and screw it in lightly until it stops, keeping it level.

6. Remove the safety ring.

7. Continue tightening to fully close the container – this step must be performed by two operators for safety reasons.

8. Wait until the liquid has fully descended. The specimen is now fixed in formalin and can be transported to the appropriate department.
